Meet the Lansquenet

Philippe Mandeville started studying Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) in 2013, and begun his teaching journey in 2017 at La Compagnie Médiévale, the oldest institution for historical swordsmanship in Québec. He became a part owner and president of the company in 2018, and co-founded Montréal Sword Meisters, one of the largest Canadian historical swordsmanship events the same year.

His involvement in the historical swordsmanship community all stems from a passion for History.
